Terms & Conditions.
These terms govern your use of Genr8. They apply to fashion brands (“merchants”) who use our service and to shoppers who interact with our widget on a merchant’s store. By using the service, you agree to these terms.
Genr8 is operated as a sole proprietorship in Cairo, Egypt. (“Genr8”, “we”, “us”). “You” means the user of the service, whether a merchant or a shopper.
- Service. The Genr8 software, including the AI size scanner and virtual try-on, made available to merchants and shoppers.
- Widget. The embeddable interface delivered through merchants’ stores.
- Merchant. A business that subscribes to or evaluates the service.
- Shopper. An end customer who interacts with the widget on a merchant’s store.
- Output. Measurements, try-on images, or other results generated by the service.
Merchants must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction) and authorised to bind the business they represent. Merchants warrant that they own or operate the storefronts where they integrate the service. The service is not intended for shoppers under the age of 16.
The service generates AI-powered body measurements and virtual try-on visualisations from photographs and details supplied by shoppers. It is delivered through an embeddable widget and related interfaces. Features, models, and capabilities may change as the product evolves.
You agree not to scrape or reverse-engineer the service, resell or sublicense access without our written permission, integrate the widget on domains we have not authorised, or use Output for medical, identification, safety-critical, or other purposes for which it is not designed. You also agree not to upload content you do not have the right to upload.
We may apply reasonable usage limits, throttle traffic that appears abusive, and suspend access that threatens the stability or security of the service or the rights of others.
We own the service, including our software, models, and brand. Merchants retain rights to their product imagery and store content. Shoppers retain rights to their uploaded photographs; by using the widget, they grant us and the relevant merchant a limited, request-scoped licence to process the photograph and generate Output. Generated Output is licensed to the merchant and the shopper for use within the merchant’s storefront context.
Output is generated by AI from limited inputs and is, by its nature, an estimate or visualisation. It may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable in some cases. Output is not medical, tailoring-grade, or safety-critical advice and must not be relied on as such.
Fees, billing terms, and any refund or guarantee periods are agreed between Genr8 and the merchant in writing — whether through a separate order form, an offer page, an invoice, or other written communication. Where applicable law grants additional rights to consumers, those rights apply.
We provide the service on a best-effort basis and do not guarantee uninterrupted availability unless an SLA has been separately agreed in writing. The service depends on third-party AI and infrastructure providers; we are not responsible for outages or changes in those services.
Either party may terminate the relationship with reasonable written notice. We may suspend or terminate access immediately in the event of a material breach of these terms, illegal activity, or risk to the service or other users.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the fees paid to us by the relevant merchant in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, or data.
Merchants agree to indemnify Genr8 against claims arising out of their misuse of the service, the products or content they offer through their stores, or any failure to obtain appropriate consents from their own customers.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cairo.
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top reflects the most recent update. If the changes are material and affect merchants, we will give reasonable notice through the service or by email.
